Directing AI Analysis

How to direct the AI to focus on insights that actually matter to your business.

Human Behavior's power is its bespoke AI analysis. Customization gives you insights that actually matter to your application. You should provide context to the AI, which it will use to give you analysis with the granularity you care about.

Imagine you run a AI legal company. Rather than vague insights like "Users tend to ask questions about the law," we can find more interesting insights like "Users care more about California law vs. New York law". We can also focus on specific things are higher priority for you - if you only care about errors in the payment flow, for example, we can focus on that.

To get started, open the Sessions page the "Personalize AI Prompt" button in the top-right corner.

Add a custom prompt to guide the AI analysis. This helps focus the analysis on what matters most to your business. It can be easy to get started with a generic, short prompt, but we recommend being comprehensive. Try to include:

  • Sector (e.g. "AI legal", "Streetwear ecommerce")
  • Key product features that drive your KPIs (e.g. "Checkout abandonment", "Chats opened", "Team members added")
  • Important business goals (e.g. "Reduce churn", "Optimize onboarding", "Improve file search experience")
  • Ideal Customer Profile (e.g. "Product leaders for B2B SaaS AI startups", "College students") Be sure to include all other context that is relevant to your company and product.
